Committed to producing innovative and exciting new literature.

Penryn Press is committed to servicing the literary community with innovative new literature that reflects the stories and environments that inspire us every day. We also want to offer a platform for fresh young talent to emerge and make new stories travel from pen to print.

If you are an aspiring author around the South West, we would like to hear your ideas for literary commissions. Keep up with Penryn Press’s news updates, Facebook and Twitter to catch our ‘calls for authors’. We will be regularly seeking to uncover new talent and produce great new publications. Attending literary festivals, fairs and conferences, we are searching for the next generation of literary stars.

Management positions at Penryn Press are reserved for students currently studying on the Penryn Campus, Cornwall. This keeps things continually fresh, and is a totally unique enterprise amongst universities in the UK. By offering students the opportunity to run Penryn Press and gain experiences at all levels of commercial business and publishing, we enable professional skill growth as well as opening publishing opportunities for students and the literary public in the South West.

Here at Penryn Press, we are inspired by the environment and local history around us in Cornwall and the South West. While run by students on the Penryn Campus, we are currently searching across the South West for new names and ideas from the literary community at large. We want to reflect the region in our literary productions and offer opportunities for talent in the region to flourish.
